Okay, I admit it....I've never subscribed or any of that. But I have an excuse!: I've been broke for the last couple of years. :P

I discovered this website about a year and a half ago, and promptly bookmarked it as something to come back to once I had a bit more money to spend on things other than food and rent. Well, that time is NOW....and now I'm not sure whether I'd be throwing my money away or not. :(

Don't get me wrong....I love every book I've ever read by DD (my all-time favorite author!), and I would buy any new Feline Wizards book(s) in a heartbeat. I'm even willing to toss a few bucks in her general direction just on the principle that she totally rocks, and good artists are NEVER paid enough for their work. But this website has been left neglected and un-updated for so long, I have to have some skepticism about whether buying one of the subscriptions will really help the project along, or just toss my (still-limited) money down a digital black hole. :(

This site is still linked from her main author site as a "work in progress," and the fact that she's still publishing Young Wizards books effectively demonstrates that she's neither dead nor given up writing (unless there's a pod....has Peter checked for a pod???). There could be legal issues, but if so, why not take five minutes for a quick post letting us know about them? She could have lost the muse, or discovered plot issues that make further progress difficult, but why not share that? Even if the book's been completely abandoned due to rampant disinterest or invasion by hemophiliac honeybees, I would still think that a short update would be in order, if only to apologize for taking people's money and leaving the job unfinished.

*insert sad kitty-eyes here* Can we get some info? An update? A hint? Even just an orphaned semicolon? Pweeese?
